Should vernacular schools be abolished?
No we should encourage different system of school so as to produce students who excel in different fields; with the rise of China as a super power we desperately need people who excel in Chinese to be able to trade with China and benefit economically from the rise of China; Bumis should be encouraged to attend such schools; likewise I would send my children to Indian school if India is poised to become a super power within the next ten years. We should encourage diversity to nurture creative mind capable of competing on the world stage; international schools; home schooling should also be encouraged! We can rename all school to be National school regardless of their medium of instruction.
